Requirements

Must-haves

  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • Experience working in e-commerce, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or logistics environments
  • Experience with the Shopify e-commerce ecosystem, including APIs, app architecture, checkout configurations, and developer tools
  • Experience in software or service companies focused on mid-market or growing digital-first merchants (under $1B in annual revenue), rather than large-scale enterprise or traditional corporate environments
  • Deep understanding of order flows, checkout mechanics, shipping cost calculations, international taxes, and duties
  • Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineering teams and evaluate architectural trade-offs
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, break down complex global trade problems, and drive initiatives from conception to launch
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Nice-to-haves

  • Startup experience
  • Experience with international tax compliance, automated tax calculation, duties, or customs/VAT systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

What you will work on

  • Take ownership of key product areas that directly impact how merchants manage and scale their stores globally
  • Define, scope, and deliver features and improvements aligned with the broader product vision
  • Analyze product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to prioritize the backlog and support product decisions
  • Deepen the e-commerce ecosystem's integration with Shopify and other major merchant platforms, managing APIs, webhooks, and data syncs
  • Communicate product roadmaps, updates, and releases to internal teams and the Director of Product
  • Partner daily with a pod of 5–7 engineers to build, test, and ship software using agile methodologies
