Requirements

Must-haves

  • 7+ years of frontend development experience, including 3+ years in a Senior or Lead role
  • Proficiency with Angular
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and responsive design principles
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and design patterns
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab (or similar), and cloud deployments
  • Experience leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade user interfaces
  • Experience evaluating and migrating frontend frameworks
  • Ability to quickly learn and master existing codebases without formal handover
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

What you will work on

This is a long-term contract, 12+ months. With 40-hour a week workloads during the first 3 months and 30-hour a week workloads during the remainder of the contract.

  • Lead the development and ownership of the frontend for our SaaS loan processing platform
  • Define technical direction, make architectural decisions, and align the frontend with business requirements
  • Build responsive, modern, and user-friendly interfaces for banks and financial institutions
  • Assess the current Angular stack and decide on migration or adoption of new frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
  • Manage and maintain the existing codebase hosted on GitLab
  • Apply UX/UI skills to improve initial designs and later collaborate with a dedicated specialist
  • Ensure applications are performant, accessible, and meet web standards
  • Integrate APIs and deliver complete features in close collaboration with backend engineers
  • Introduce new frameworks, tools, and practices to drive innovation and development quality
