Requirements
Must-haves
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Apex (OOP, triggers, async patterns) and SOQL/SOSL.
- Proven experience building and supporting integrations (REST/SOAP, OAuth flows, Named Credentials, External Services).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling and the security/sharing model.
- Track record of writing high-quality test classes and working within governor limits.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD for Salesforce (Git, SFDX/CLI, release pipelines).
Nice-to-haves
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architect, or Application Architect.
- Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Salesforce Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with industry patterns (Enterprise Integration Patterns, event-driven architectures) on Salesforce.
- Experience with DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or DevOps Center at scale.
- Exposure to large org refactors, multi-org strategies, or complex data migrations.
- Comfort mentoring others, conducting code reviews, and shaping backend architecture.
What you will work on
- We’re looking for a Salesforce Backend Developer to design, build, and scale robust solutions on the Salesforce platform, focusing on server-side customization, business logic, and integrations; in this role you will develop and maintain Apex code (classes, triggers, async jobs), write efficient SOQL/SOSL, implement automation with Triggers, Batch/Queueable/Scheduled Apex and Flows where appropriate, design clean data models (objects, fields, relationships, record types), integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, Named Credentials, Platform Events and/or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato), enforce security and sharing best practices, optimize for governor limits and performance, contribute to CI/CD and release processes using Git and Salesforce tooling (SFDX/CLI, DevOps Center, Copado/Gearset), produce reliable unit tests with strong coverage, and collaborate closely with product, admins, and frontend/LWC engineers to deliver maintainable, well-documented features end-to-end.
