Requirements

Must-haves

  • 2–4 years of SEO, web content creation experience
  • Local SEO experience: hands-on experience improving visibility and rankings for local businesses through a combination of technical, on-page, and strategic efforts
  • Proven results in content and technical optimization
  • Experience with SEO tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Proficiency with WordPress site updates and on-page optimization
  • Ability to write and edit English content for clarity, engagement, and conversion
  • Deep understanding of site speed, indexing, and local SEO best practices
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

  • Experience in veterinary, medical, or small-business service industries
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content platforms (Surfer, Clearscope, ChatGPT)
  • Exposure to multi-site SEO and content localization for international markets
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent

What you will work on

  • Execute both content and technical SEO strategies for a portfolio of small-to-medium websites
  • Perform detailed SEO audits using tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Implement technical fixes to improve site speed, indexing, and local SEO (GBP optimization, citations, schema)
  • Create and optimize website content for conversion, including service pages and localized copy
  • Work directly in WordPress (Divi a plus) to apply on-page SEO updates and enhancements
  • Monitor keyword performance, track traffic growth, and report measurable improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with content and SEO strategy
  • Manage multiple SEO projects in Wrike or similar project management tools
