Requirements
Must-haves
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience with Node.js (TypeScript)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with AWS (ECS, SQS, Kinesis)
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Ability to deliver production-ready applications end-to-end
- Ability to own features from development through deployment
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or real-time systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
What you will work on
This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) for a 6-month contract.
- Design and implement backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and PostgreSQL
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure (ECS, SQS, Kinesis)
- Develop and integrate APIs for mobile and web platforms
- Implement authentication, payments, and user management features
- Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to ensure scalability and high performance
