Requirements
Must-haves
- 5+ years of software development
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Kotlin
- Experience with React
- Experience in building modern web applications
- Experience with object-oriented programming for API development
- Familiarity with Git in a collaborative team setting
- Agile development experience
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- Infrastructure experience (e.g., Terraform/OpenTofu, or Pulumi)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., Pub/Sub, Google Storage, CloudSQL, GKE, BigQuery)
- Experience with Temporal, workflow management
- Knowledge of real-time data processing (message queues, stream processing, e.g. Beam, Flink)
- Experience managing data contracts, gRPC, protobuf
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
What you will work on
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to improve existing software and implement new features
- Identify and resolve bugs and manage technical debt
- Promote improvements through effective code instrumentation, operational awareness, and adherence to software design best practices
- The technology stack includes Angular, Kotlin, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes, hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
