Requirements
Must-haves
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency with Node.js
- Proficiency with React
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience working with Generative AI and LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and large-scale LLM API implementation
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, testing (unit and integration), Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to design and maintain scalable web applications
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- Experience in the FinTech or Mortgage/Lending domain
- Public Git repository or demonstrable code showcasing AI projects
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience building high-availability, low-latency microservices on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
What you will work on
- Own the complete lifecycle of AI-driven features, covering backend services, databases, and user interface integration
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
- Develop responsive and interactive web interfaces with React
- Build and maintain high-performance, type-safe APIs for real-time LLM inference and context retrieval
- Rapidly design and deploy prototypes and MVPs to validate ideas and accelerate adoption
- Apply pragmatic engineering practices to balance delivery speed, system stability, and compliance in a financial context
- Oversee system deployment, monitoring, optimization, and cost efficiency
- Research and integrate emerging AI tools and frameworks to enhance product innovation
