Requirements

8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in solution architecture
Proficiency with Python for application development
Experience with AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security)
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling (SQL Server)
Experience designing and delivering complex systems and integrations in an enterprise
environments
Experience with design patterns, API design (REST), and microservices architecture
Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Startup experience
Experience with Azure
Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to enterprise data platforms, analytics, or BI systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

What you will work on

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week) for a 7-12-7-month contract.

Lead the design of scalable, secure, and reliable solutions across application, data, and cloud layers
Translate business requirements into technical architecture by collaborating with stakeholders
Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms aligned with project and organizational needs
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineering teams during development, integration, and deployment
Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, including performance optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery
Create and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and data flows
Align solution designs with enterprise architecture standards and governance
