Requirements
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience developing modern web applications
- Expertise in building browser-based regression tests using Selenium, Cypress or similar tools
- Expertise in developing load and performance using JMeter or similar tools
- Expertise in designing and documenting test plans
- Experience using Git in a team environment
- Agile development experience
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Expertise with Kubernetes
- Experience with API development
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (e.g. Google Storage, PubSub, CloudSQL, GKE)
What you will work on
- Design and develop test plans for browser-based and API regression testing
- Create test specifications based on requirements, design, architecture, and interface analysis
- Create and maintain test scripts for browser and API regression testing
- Create, update, and maintain test cases for various software configurations
- Produce plans and tools for performance testing and load testing
- Incorporate automated tests in GitLab pipelines
- Discover and fix bugs and technical debt
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to develop new features
- Drive improvements by proper code instrumentation, operational awareness, and utilization of software design best practices
