Must-haves

  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in developing interactive data visualization with Tableau or equivalent technologies
  • 5+ years of Python experience
  • 5+ years of Databricks, SQL, and Data Lake experience
  • Experience with data ingestion, processing, and infrastructure of ETL pipelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Capacity to work independently and self-management
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 + years of experience developing frontend apps with React, Angular, D3, Plotly, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in querying both structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including RDBMS, NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data warehouses
  • 5+ years of experience building APIs with Python, Node.js, and frameworks like Django, Flask, and Express
  • Experience with cloud (AWS)
  • Agile development experience with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

What you will work on

  • Lead the development of a fleet analytics portal using Tableau, JavaScript frameworks (React), and visualization frameworks (D3/Plotly)
  • Write optimized queries in Databricks, ensuring cost efficiency and performance
  • Work with the architecture team to maintain and design the data layer
  • Collaborate with product teams to define requirements and closely work with architects and roboticists to understand machine log data
  • Suggest new ideas to improve the understanding of fleet performance
  • Create and manage data visualizations for ML datasets utilizing Facet
  • Develop web app portals for analytics, data collection, and metrics, using Python and frameworks like Flask/Django for the API, and JavaScript frameworks like React and D3.js for the frontend
  • Discover possibilities to expand the reach of analytics and visualization portals within the Autonomy organization
  • Maintain proper documentation of the work
