Requirements
Must-haves
- 2+ years of software development experience
- Experience creating/customizing Shopify themes
- Experience improving site speed
- Strong JavaScript/ES6 experience
- Strong API experience
- Strong understanding of CSS
- Strong attention to detail
- Availability to work from 9 am to 5 pm CST
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub
- Familiarity with Slack and Asana
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
What you will work on
This is a part-time role (20 hours / week) for a 3-6-month contract
- Build online stores, themes, and apps using the Shopify platform
- Convert design files to finished code
- Thoroughly QA work before handoff
