Requirements

4+ years of software development experience
Hands-on Salesforce development experience
Proficiency with Apex
Proficiency with SOQL
Proficiency with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Proficiency with Salesforce Flow
Experience with Data Cloud
Experience with Salesforce data models and security models
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or higher
Experience with deployment tools (e.g. Salesforce CLI, CI/CD Pipelines, Sandbox Management)
Experience with REST and SOAP API integrations
Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Hands-on Salesforce development experience covering the fundamentals
A strong communicator, able to align closely with the Technical Architect and engage directly with clients when needed
Experience with Data Cloud

Startup experience
Experience working with education institutions (K-12, higher education, nonprofits)
Exposure to Education Cloud or Nonprofit Cloud
Interest in education or social impact
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Build and maintain Salesforce solutions (custom objects, flows, Apex classes, Lightning components, integrations)
Design and implement CRM workflows for education-sector clients
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs
Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance issues, and user-reported problems
Support data migration, data quality management, and system documentation
Drive ongoing system improvements and identify automation opportunities
Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards
