Requirements
Must-haves
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Typescript and React
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails
- Experience with TDD, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks
- Extensive knowledge and experience with modern full-stack web applications
- Ability to manage and deliver on multiple competing priorities efficiently
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
Nice-to-haves
- Startup experience
- 2+ years of Elixir experience
- Experience in the finance and/or healthcare industries
- Proficiency in technologies such as Elm, Git, MariaDB, PostgreSQL
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
What you will work on
- Design, build, and maintain modern full-stack web focused software
- Ensure the delivery of secure, high-performance, and maintainable software
- Ensure that the architecture is scalable, reliable, and secure
- Identify and advocate for code optimization and the reduction of technical debt
- Provide recommendations on the adoption of technologies aligned with our use cases
- Collaborate with product management to build software that addresses customer needs
- Offer mentorship and support to other members of the engineering team
- Promote agile/scrum development practices within the team
