Requirements

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Professional experience with Scala in production environments
  • Professional experience with TypeScript, Angular, and/or React
  • Experience building secure, scalable, and testable APIs
  • Strong grasp of concurrent programming, server-side development, and modern software design principles
  • Familiarity with Git, issue tracking tools (like JIRA), and agile development practices
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building role-based authorization systems (e.g., JWT, OAuth)
  • Experience building applications with security best practices
  • Exposure to SQL and relational database systems
  • Knowledge of front-end performance and UI consistency using Angular
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
